Joyce Grehl, Joyce GrehlI am a transplant from NJ, living here since 2005. My husband and I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren (as of this moment). I decided that I needed to prove that you need not be 20-something to instruct others. Imagine dancing and losing weight – ZUMBA Fitness WHAT A CONCEPT!

Terry Schoonmaker, Terry SchoonmakerTerry's journey has been a wonderful experience, it has taught her to Be. Just to Be and observe, to say little and to practice peace. She came to Yoga six years ago injured and defeated by pain in body and mind. As she committed herself to be patient, content and kind, her light began to shine. She healed through the gentle consistant guidance of her beloved teacher Narayani Linda Murray. As she is learning, she is growing stronger and more confident, aware of the present moment and the precious life we get to live. Her devotion to God has given her much to be grateful for. If Terry had a mantra it would be: Be well, Be peaceful, Be strong, Be safe, Be calm. Terry is 200 hour Hatha Yoga certified.

Nancy Kamm, Nancy KammMy husband and I moved to Odessa, Florida about 17 years ago. In 2004 we moved to Homosassa. Having a background years ago in Ishinru-style Karate, I became interested in T’ai Chi Chuan after reading some articles regarding its health benefits. I studied Yang style T’ai Chi for four years when my instructor asked me to teach the class occasionally.

Sheila Abrahams, Sheila Abrahamsas a certified instructor for Hatha, Kundalini and Kripalu Yoga, Sheila brings a great energy to her classes.  With a background as a registered Dietitian teaching classes at the College of Central Florida, Sheila has a strong conviction to a well balanced lifestyle.

Nancy LaViolette, Sheila AbrahamsBelly Dancing has been an exceedingly strong passion for me. Approximately 35 years ago I began my studies under an instructor from New York. Over the years I continued learning about the art form and am still learning today. Styles that have been studied are Egyptian, Turkish, Greek and other forms of the dance. About 30 years ago I began teaching in schools, organizations and giving private lessons. Currently, I am teaching for Citrus County Parks and Recreation.

There have been many and various functions where I have performed and I oversee the troupe Egyptian Treasures of Cairo.

I look forward to offering a Belly Dancing class that is educational, great fun, offers plenty of exercise and will help you to be the best dancer you can possibly be.

Please call within 2 weeks of your last class to discuss the situation (good for a credit only). Once your class session expiration date has arrived, those classes are no longer valid. Cell Phones:

Cell phone usage is not permitted in the studio. We prefer you extend this request to texting as well. It's best just to leave your phone locked in your glove compartment of your car.

Lost & Found:

We are not responsible for any items left at the studio. Any items left behind will be placed in our "lost & found" bin in the back room for a period of 30 days only. Any items left beyond 30 days will be sent to The Key Center.

Online Registration:

You can register for any class, workshop or series as soon as it is listed on our website.

* On-line registration for classes ends 30 minutes before a class starts.

* If you can't make it to class you must un-register online at least 1 hour prior to its beginning to avoid being charged for that class and to allow time for someone else to take your spot.

* When you arrive to the studio please sign-in with the desk staff to let them know you are there. Registering for a class on-line only ensures a spot in class; it does not actually sign you in.

* If you do not arrive to class within 10 minutes of the start you risk the chance of losing your reservation. 9 minutes prior to class time we allow people on the wait list to take reserved spots.

* When you register for a class and don't show up (without cancelling prior), 5 times in one year you will lose your on-line registration privileges.

* As always please remain courteous to your fellow students and try to arrive at least 10 minutes before class to make sure you are signed in and settled into the room before class begins.

Guidelines for getting started:

1.) All classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long unless otherwise noted on the schedule.

2.) Equipment, including mats, are provided. It is best to bring your own mat. There is a $1 mat rental fee after your first class. We provide most all other needed acessories for the class you are taking.

3.) Classes are best practiced on an empty stomach so try not to eat for 1-2 hours before class. If you need to eat, please eat food that is easily digested, such as fruit or a few nuts for protein.

4.) Bring a water bottle into class. For your convenience, we have a water cooler. Water bottles are also for sale.

5.) It is very important to let your teacher know if you are working with any injuries so they can suggest the proper modifications for you. Please let us know if you are pregnant so we can recommend a prenatal class.

6.) Dress comfortably with no belts or buckles, and be prepared to remove your socks for some classes (unless you have a foot condition that necessitates keeping your socks on).

7.) Please do not wear fragrances to class, as others may be sensitive or allergic to them. Breathing is an important part of our yoga and other classes.

8.) Please arrive to class on time--we recommend 10-15 minutes early. Sign in at the front desk. Set up your space and take time to center. If the class is full, line your mat up with the yellow dots so that the dot is at the center of the front of your yoga mat. If you find that you are late, be aware that class has started and enter the room as quietly as possible.

9.) Come into class quietly. If you want to have a conversation with someone, please do so outside. Let your class begin when you are on your mat or workout area, and be considerate of others who are already on theirs.

10.) Turn off your cell phone or leave it in your car. Leave your "to-do" list at the door, as you come into a sanctuary-like space that you will come to know and love. Prepare yourself for a unique experience.

11.) Be patient with yourself when practicing any of our classes. Try not to judge yourself too harshly or negatively. Appreciate where you are and what you can do.
