In March 2009 I began teaching a class for seniors at the West Citrus Community Center. In January 2011 I moved to the Community Room of the Homosassa Library where I hold class twice a week on Monday and Friday mornings. I enjoy teaching the class not only for the health benefits I have experienced; but also in watching students learn and discover that it can help them as well – whether learning new methods inhow to relax and relieve stress to improving their balance and gaining more flexibility in their joints and strength in their muscles – in particular their legs and core.
I’ve been married to my husband Bob for 47 great years. We have two kids – our daughter Amy and her family live in the Kansas City area and our son Rob and his family live near Birmingham. We have four beautiful grandchildren – Amy’s daughters – Raffa, 17 and Eleanor, 14 and Rob’s son, Bas, 8 and daughter, Zoe, 7. I’ve been active and involved in various community activities my entire adult life; but since our move to the Nature Coast I devote my time to my garden and home activities with my husband, friends and T’ai Chi. T’ai Chi has become an integral part of my life – more so than I ever imagined. My hope is to impart that feeling to my students. Coming Soon, we are opening our Yoga Studio in Feb, 2012
